Recently I decided to head out with my camera again to take some photos. Usually I head towards the Clinton side of the Wachusett Reservoir to the Clinton Dam, but I've been there so many times already.
So instead I headed to the other side, which gets you towards the Clinton High school. I've been that way a couple times before . There is a very large open field that leads. you to the water and is probably about a mile long. Its interesting, but being so wide open the scene tends to be a little bland. Often times you will see photographers there with clients as there is a lot of space to work with and you have the water right there as well.
So when I got there I parked near the water along the road, in a parking area and walked a little. Then, I drove a little further down and saw a passage area of trees that would also get you towards the water. That's where I got out again and walked down. This part was much more interesting with all the trees and the tall grass etc.
I got some photos there and met a guy bird watching. We talked for a bit about bird watching and also about me shooting film. He told me about his Nikons that he has and how maybe he should use film again. I walked a little bit more there and then headed back to the car. On my way out I told myself that I have to go back to that area as there are other trails and ponds in the area.
I'm really liking how these photos turned out, hope you do as well.
