Hi!
Massachusetts Portrait Photographer
For more than a decade I've been wandering around with a camera. I went from point and shoot, to several DSLRs, to Mirrorless and even to film. All cameras, when used properly, will get you great results. Its been fun trying out different systems old and new.
I had a wedding and portrait photography business for several years and I learned so much about that world. I met some amazing people and worked with some great photographers. I even wrote a couple articles for MCP Actions here and the Digital Photography School here.
I enjoy all kinds of photography and I do work on personal projects on my own time. I've shot over twenty weddings, engagement sessions, senior photos, family photos, product photography and even some corporate head-shots. I've also had several websites as my photography interests changed. I've taught beginner lessons to those looking to get into photography and even mentored a few people. Photography has really provided a lot to me, but also let me contribute and give back.
This past year I started exploring film photography and that really re-ignited my creativity. Its a different approach and the results are amazing. For my personal work I primarily use one of my film cameras because it slows me down and really keeps me in the moment. I don't have to worry about editing, or taking too many photos or thinking too much about the photo I just took. I focus, visualise the final image, take the photo and then move on to the next.
