A little over a week ago I headed out to downtown Worcester with my Leica and lens to get some black and white photos. I headed out kind of early, but there was almost no one out on the streets. I found it strange, but people do wake up a little late on the weekend if possible. Either way, It'd been a while since I've wandered around downtown. I noticed that some areas had changed and around the new stadium parking options had changed.
Mostly I realized that with all these changes I really need to head out again to see more of the city. With my film camera and the black and white film I was hoping to capture some nice contrast, shapes and just decent photos overall. I walked down main street and then made my way to the rooftop parking lot above Mezcal. Many years ago I had gone up there with a friend to take similar photos. Being that there really weren't that many people around I figured maybe I'd get a couple decent photos up there.
I'm very pleased with these photos and plan to head out again to get more city photos.
I used Ilford HP5 film.
