I've always enjoyed black and white, but I would just try it here and there just for fun. This past year of shooting on film it was either that or color. I enjoy color, but the different films looked different depending on lighting, proper exposure and other factors. Black and white was just so consistent.
Fast forward a little and I'm back on my Fuji camera and have come up with my own Fuji Simulation. Super basic, but works for me. Going forward I do plan on doing photo walks only in black and white as I really like that aesthetic and it also draws my attention to different things. Shape, contrast, texture and lines really stand out more. I set my camera to black and white. These were not converted from color files.
These are just a handful that I took earlier today. I have done many walks there before in color which might appear in a future blog post.
